Under National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture, it is planned to collect the soil samples from 1/3 rd villages of the District, to analyse and distribution the soil health cards to the farmers. The details are as follow:

An amount of Rs. 18.16 crores has been allocated to the district under farm mechanisation (National State Plan 12.336 crore, RKVY 3.64 crores, NFSM 2.16 Crores).
22.44 crores released under input subsidy for the crop damages. Enumerated from to hail storms occurred during March’2014.
Rs. 4.88 Lakhs to be released under input subsidy for the crop damages. Enumerated due to heavy rains occurred during Sep’2014.
Rs. 3.16 crores to be released under input subsidy for the crop damages. Enumerated due to heavy rains occurred during April’2014.
Rs. 460.15 crores amount as 25% amount of crop loan waiver during 2014 was adjusted to 4,07,186 farmers accounts in the farmers accounts as crop loan waiver during 2015.

Total of 34 cluster have been allotted covering 1700 acres in the district.
Based on the adverse situation prevailed in the district vide GO MS No. 6 dated 24-11-2015, the Government has declared the following 11 mandals drought affected namely 1. Bachannapet , 2. Cherial , 3. Dharmasagar, 4. Raghunathpally 5. Ghanpur(Stn.)6. Jangaon 7. Maddur 8. Narmetta 9. Narsimhulapet 10. Zaffergadh & 11. Palakurthy.
So far 53276.77 Ha of Cotton and 494.5 Ha of Redgram damage area particulars has been reported
