Project Report for development of Horticultrue Nursury cum Training Center (HNTC), Ekkela, Eturnagaram, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

The HNTC is situated at Ekkela village of Eturnagaram mandal in an extent of 20.00 acres and it is only 1.00 km away from Eturnagaram.

Present Status:

The following orchard plants are available at present in the farm along with Nos 15 HP submersible motors (02) in functioning condition.

Mango:

In Mango production black majority of the plants are died and neglected only 46 are existing.

In scion block lanky growth of Mango plants are existing due to close plantation 122 plants are existing.

Un productive and senile.

Needs uprooting and establishment of new scion block.

Plan of Action:

It is proposed to take up the following works for development of the farm.

Constuction of polyhouse/shade net house for utilization of propagation of plant material.

Establishment of scion block and land use pattern.

Purchase of Tractor with trolley.

Allotment of Daily Wage watchmen and Daily Wage workers (10) No’s.

Provision of drip/mocro irrigation system for entire scion block.

Construction and erection of main gate.

Plantation and Coconut seedlings all along the internal roads.
